Sausage Balls
1 pound pork sausage (crumbled)
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 (14 ounce) can chopped sauerkraut (drained)
1 (13 ounce) package cream cheese
2 Tablespoons parsley
1 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup flour
2 beaten eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 cup cracker crumbs
In a skillet, cook sausage and onions until meat is
brown. Add sauerkraut and 2 Tablespoons cracker crumbs.
Combine cream cheese, parsley, mustard, garlic salt and pepper.
Stir this mixture into sauerkraut and sausage mixture.
Chill. Shape into 3/4 inch balls and coat in egg mixture (combine
eggs and milk), then cracker crumbs. Fry in hot fat.
