Christmas Recipes

Cherry Delight

Step 1

2 1/2 cup graham crackers

1 stick butter

1 tablespoon brown sugar

Mix and bake at 325 for 5-8 minutes in an 8 X 13 inch pan

Step 2

Beat together:

1 - 8 ounce package Philadelphia Cream Cheese

2 Tablespoons of milk

1 cup powdered sugar

Spread cheese mixture over crust.  Sprinkle 1 cup of chopped nut meat over cheese.

Step 3

Beat 2 packages of Dream Whip (according to directions) and add 1 Tablespoon sugar.

Beat till stiff. Spread Dream Whip over cheese and nuts.

Add 1 can cherry pie filling on top.

Chill 2 hours.

 



 
 
 

This is a very rich desert and looks very festive for the holiday.  I remember having this desert at every Christmas family gathering while I was growing up.
